What is Treasure (MAGIC)?

Treasure is a decentralised gaming ecosystem that first launched on the Ethereum network in October 2021. 2 months later, Treasure saw a greater opportunity and decided to migrate over to the leading Ethereum Layer 2 network, Arbitrum. Great move.

The Treasure protocol is on the mission to unite games, Metaverse’s and communities within its ecosystem, creating the ultimate Web3 game console. Treasure is a true, decentralised home for gamers that is powered by NFTs & the fabled $MAGIC token.

How does Treasure work?

The protocol is made up of three important layers, these are:

Cartridges (First Layer)

This layer is created by builders who build Games & Metaverse’s, all of which is has been built using $MAGIC (Native Token).

Communities (Second Layer)

The Communities layer is made up of various communities that all utilise the $MAGIC token.

Infrastructure (Third Layer)

By far the most essential layer, it allows builders to access tools, the protocol’s engine and much more!

Every layer and project (Games/Metaverses etc) that lies within the Treasure ecosystem utilises the $MAGIC token. Each project has the ability to create custom player NFTs and the ability to enable token staking.

Treasure (MAGIC) Ecosystem

There are over 13 projects within the Treasure ecosystem, here are the ones that stood out most:

Bridgeworld

Treasure’s unique strategic trading game that allows users to earn $MAGIC tokens by competing against other like-minded foes.

Smolverse

A pixelated Metaverse that has already facilitated over 39.8M $MAGIC in volume! P2E or collect, sell and even stake their NFTs for that extra juicy yield.

Tales of Elleria

Is a 3D animated role-playing game (RPG) that allows you to explore a 3D world, summon heroes, take on quests & assignments and much more! Start an adventure that you won’t ever forget!

Treasure has created the perfect GameFi & Metaverse ecosystem for both gamers and developers/builders. Over 100,000 users have engaged with the Treasure ecosystem in some way.

Treasure Trove Marketplace

The Treasure Trove marketplace has seen an overall volume of $270M and rising. Millions of $MAGIC tokens have been traded through the marketplace. Arbitrum is the perfect home for gaming and especially NFTs which are expensive to swap and mint on the Ethereum network.

Will the Treasure Trove become the Opensea of NFT Gaming?

Governance

Before we dive into all of the $MAGIC utilities, Governance plays a key role in the ecosystem which allows Treasure users to vote or create proposals. Only users who Stake or Provide Liquidity with $MAGIC will have access to Governance.

Staked $MAGIC and/or $MAGIC-$WETH SLP will be turned into what’s called Governance Magic $gMAGIC. These tokens provide you access to the Treasure Governance.

$MAGIC Token

After reading this article, you would have noticed how much utility the $MAGIC token has to offer!

In brief, every game or metaverse in the ecosystem is built using $MAGIC. Every community, whether large or small utilises it. Transactions in the marketplace all utilise $MAGIC. Most importantly, the entire infrastructure behind the Treasure ecosystem allows builders to access the protocol’s shared engine and a variety of easily accessible tools!

$MAGIC was purposely designed to be scarce, with a Maximum token supply of 347,714,007. Currently, 215M+ (61.84%) $MAGIC tokens are in circulation.

Tokenomics

Total Supply – 350M

Treasure Farm – 33%

Mining – 25%

Staking/Liquidity – 17%

Ecosystem Fund – 15%

Team – 10%

Treasure has one of the most amazing Tokenomics I’ve seen. Most protocols have double the team allocation. It seems Treasure is a fully dedicated, community-driven team!

How to buy $MAGIC

The $MAGIC token is available on the Arbitrum network and majority of the major centralised exchanges.

There are two main ways to buy $MAGIC, but the best option is to buy and hold the Magic token on a DeFi wallet:

Option 1- Centralised Exchange

The $MAGIC token is obtainable on most Centralised Exchanges (CEXs), we have listed a few centralised exchanges with some juicy promotions you can take advantage of!

Option 2 – DeFi Wallet & Decentralised Exchange

We recommend getting Ethereum $ETH using one of the centralised exchanges and then sending your $ETH to an Arbitrum DeFi wallet where you can swap $ETH for $MAGIC:

To get started you will need a DeFi wallet and make sure to secure your seed phrase with a hardware wallet (Trezor):

If you are buying $MAGIC through your DeFi wallet, you must use the Arbitrum network which requires $ETH tokens for gas fees. If you haven’t set up the Ethereum & Arbitrum Metamask networks, follow our Youtube tutorials below. Here are the essential links:

You will be set up and ready to go in under 10 minutes!

Conclusion

At the time of writing, $MAGIC is sitting at a price of $1.32, ranked #118 on CoinMarketCap and has a market cap of $281.6M! The $MAGIC token once peaked at an all-time high of $6.31 and reached a market cap of over $443M!

The P2E narrative will return once again and most likely in the next bull run. Once the narrative has been initiated, it is without a doubt that $MAGIC will be at the forefront. Treasure has created the perfect suite for gamers to earn and most importantly, have fun!
