Token Migration is simply the process of moving tokens from one blockchain to another. Migrating tokens to other blockchain networks is a common practice used by protocols as they either wish to move to a more scalable network or wish to expand and become cross-chain. Nonetheless, when a token is permanently shifting networks, a token migration is required.
