The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) is a worldwide organisation that sets compliances around the globe to combat terrorist financing (AML/CFT) and money laundering. The FATF has been around since 1989 and monitors all forms of currency, whether physical or digital, such as cryptocurrencies.
