A Co-Signer is an individual or entity that has partial control and access to a joint cryptocurrency wallet. Usually, noncustodial crypto wallets are meant for individual use, however, sometimes people share wallets and therefore those who have access are a collective of co-signers. These shared wallets are known as Multi-Sig wallets as they require more than one Co-Signer to sign off a transaction, increasing the safety of the wallet. These Multi-Sig wallets are most commonly used by blockchain protocols to better safeguard assets.
